what is nodu?

Much more than dance: an inner-growth experience for children and parents

The concept behind this school

A place where your son or daughter could develop both their artistic side and their mental potential

In any sphere of society, great mentors have gone through an inevitable process of personal development, often driven by crises or difficult moments. In the end, the path always leads to inner growth and self-knowledge.

Nodu was born with a clear mission: to shorten the learning curve of the youngest, helping them to avoid devastating crises and guiding them towards their best version.

More than movement and dance, we offer a powerful tool to connect both hemispheres of the brain and enhance emotional intelligence. If we could give one piece of advice to our past selves, it would be to invest in our emotional intelligence to face the world with confidence, instead of letting the world overtake us.

At Nodu, movement is the key to transformation. We want our students to grow both personally and artistically, learning to express their inner selves, release burdens and discover themselves in a deep and authentic way.

Emotional intelligence is fundamental to their future🧠

If you don’t know where to start, you won’t know how to change it.

Movement is more than art a tool for personal growth and social transformation

Dancing is not only an artistic expression but also a powerful tool for strengthening self-confidence, regulating emotions, enhancing brain health and deepening social bonds. Through rhythm and movement, we connect with our true selves, developing body awareness, self-esteem and emotional balance. Group dance fosters empathy, cooperation and social connectedness, while the release of neurotransmitters such as serotonin, dopamine and oxytocin reduces stress and uplifts mood. At the same time, dance stimulates brain plasticity, improves memory, concentration and creativity, and helps reduce the risk of neurodegenerative diseases by keeping both body and mind active. By activating both hemispheres of the brain, dance unites logic, emotion and motor skills, promoting better coordination and deeper self-knowledge. In this way, dance becomes more than movement it is therapy, education and transformation, helping us to rediscover our inner child and live with greater awareness.

Strengthens self-confidence and personal identity

Dancing will help you to recognise your true self (because you can’t lie to sensations and a rhythm that makes them vibrate), increase self-esteem and body awareness, helping you to express yourself better and feel more connected to yourself (self-knowledge)

Synchronising with others improves empathy and social connectedness

Dancing not only frees the body, but also the mind. As we move, our brain generates oxytocin (bonding and trust), dopamine (pleasure and motivation) and serotonin (well-being and emotional balance).

In addition, dancing in a group strengthens cooperation and active listening, helping us to connect better with others.

Movement is more than art: it is a tool for personal development and social transformation (a journey to your inner child)

Helps regulate emotions

Dancing is a natural way to express and release emotions, reducing stress, anxiety and depression (whether you like it or not, dancing always improves your mood).

Rhythmic movement activates the limbic system, the area of the brain that processes emotions, bringing you into a state of flow where music and movement help to regulate them and improve your psychological wellbeing.

At Nodu, dance is not just art, it is therapy in movement

Dance strengthens brain plasticity

Dancing stimulates the creation of new neural connections, which improves the ability to learn and adapt to new situations (adaptive life skills are a great skill)

Repetition of dance sequences strengthens memory and the ability to concentrate (something that is being lost today)
Improving plasticity is one of the keys to cognitive health and preventing neurological decline.

Reducing the risk of neurodegenerative diseases

Studies have shown that dance is one of the best activities for reducing the risk of Alzheimer’s and other cognitive diseases.

The combination of movement, memory and rhythm keeps the brain active and healthy thanks to serotonin, oxytocin and dopamine.

Dance challenges both mind and body, slowing down brain and body ageing

(If the body becomes addicted to bad sensations, it eventually dominates the mind, hence the name ‘addiction’)

Increases the connection between brain hemispheres

Dancing activates both sides of the body, strengthening communication between the brain hemispheres through the corpus callosum. Dancers develop this connection, improving their coordination, creativity and (self-knowledge)

Few activities simultaneously integrate logic, emotion and motor skills, enhancing self-awareness and mental development.

(We want you to understand yourself through knowledge of neuroscience and movement to connect mind and body)

Now then...

I am committed to your change, now the question... you?

The commitment is not to me, but to your legacy (daughter or son).

I understand that many times we want to have peace time from our children (and that’s fine) but they are your responsibility for their future (their development of values and a healthy mind and preparedness for their future)

As I said before, what education would you have liked (your parents to have implemented in your operating system 🧠)

From 0 to 7 years old (approx.) children’s brains are 95.5% subconscious and the other 5% conscious, what does this mean?

✅ Children absorb information without filters , as if they were sponges.
✅They function in a highly suggestible state, where everything they see and hear is recorded in their subconscious.
✅They do not yet have strong critical thinking, as their rational brain (prefrontal cortex) is still developing.

Our childhood marks us for life. If you could remove one thing from yours, what would it be? How has it influenced the person you are today? Reflecting on this not only helps us to understand ourselves better, but also to be more aware of how we raise our children. What lessons from your childhood do you want to transform into tools of love and growth for them?

Every person is welcome in Nodu as long as there is a commitment (I repeat with yourselves and your legacy) I already know what kind of human being I want to be for my future legacy and you?

If you made it this far, congratulations, you already have ‘some knowledge’ but the most important thing is that you understand the concept of Nodu and the vision behind it

I invite you to send us an email 📩 and our team will contact you and remember to reduce the learning curve, thanks for your time (the most valuable thing we
